Welcome to BrandiNicoleYouniversity! My goal is to help you become the person God created you to be, as inspired by the Bible verse below:

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” - Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Have you ever wondered if you are living up to your fullest potential? Are you using your gifts to their maximum capacity as God desires? When I was new in my walk with Christ, I learned through church sermons and God's word that He has a plan for us, a plan created before we were born. The infinite wisdom God has about us is awe-inspiring. He knows more about us than we know about ourselves.

It's like a mother with her baby. She knows the baby will eventually walk and talk, even though the baby doesn’t. The baby depends on the mother for development because she created the baby. This simple example illustrates that God knows our purpose before we do. To fulfill our purpose, we must seek our Creator, who reveals our capabilities through His Word and the Holy Spirit.

I am grateful that God has provided a way for us to reach our fullest potential despite living in a fallen world. Following the ways of the world can confuse us about our true purpose.

The heated blanket during morning devotional

Me: This heated blanket feels so good!

God: Look up what using a heated blanket will do to you the way you use it. I’ve already spoken to you to sleep in coolness without the blanket.

Me: God why is everything good bad for me or being taken away?

God: I AM the only Good thing. Everything that is in this Earth that I created is not good. It may feel good to your flesh, but it is not good. You know I hate murmuring and complaining from the book of Exodus. You know I am a good good father. You know I would never harm you. Why do you question or get angry with me?

Well I guess HE checked me!

What are your thoughts?

When I looked up how I was using the heated blanket, He was just warning me to not fold the blankets coils which could damage them and start a fire. Since I sleep with it a night I could very well have experienced this He was just protecting me and not trying to take away what I appreciate in my drafty home.

Thank you Abba for Your Grace and Mercy. I am sorry for being a complainer and not listening to Your Word that will always work out for my good even when I fall short. In Jesus name Amen!

John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

The saying all of you and none of me doesn’t mean that you don’t give your all. In order for you to have true relationship with me you have to give all of you and I have to give all of me. Just like the scripture says love the lord your god with all you heart. Don’t get worried I know that all of you is imperfect. I know that all of you doesn’t seem like enough. I know that all of you may feel like a smidgen of faith or hope or willingness. But my all is perfect. It Will perfectly fill in the gaps that you aren’t able. Perfectly smooth the edges that you weren’t able to refine. I will make your all whatever it is perfect. Just trust in me. Lean into me and obey me. Fight the flesh that wants you to stay in the bed. Fight the flesh that wants you to be selfish and not selfless and I will perfect your ALL.
